Approximately 20 km southwest of Vigo lays the small coastal town of Baiona, an attractive and interesting place for all visitors, with a wide range of tourist facilities and pleasant summer climate. The Fortress is a most impressive edifice dominating the harbour entrance, with high surrounding walls and magnificent views.
